A pattern for two car seat blankets, one in a moss-stitch basket weave pattern in chunky, the other in super chunky in a basic basket stitch. The super chunky one has only 50 stitches and 74 rows! They both have openings for the car seat harness to slot neatly through, thus securing the blanket in place. Both very simple and quick to make and great for cold winter days. They fit a standard car seat for 0-9m.

Materials

Chunky Cover

250g chunky yarn (US: Bulky)

6.5mm needles (US 10.5, UK 3)

4 buttons


Super Chunky Cover

200g Super Chunky/Bulky yarn (I used Sirdar Big Softie)

10mm needles (US 15, UK 000)
